We are happy to confirm the signing of Kyran Lofthouse on a three-year deal, with a further option in the Club’s favour.
The 22-year-old defender joins the Reds after most recently representing Woking in the National League, making 103 appearances for the Cards across a two-year spell.
Born in Oxford, Lofthouse began his career with hometown club Oxford United, before moving to Oxford City on loan.
A second loan move whilst with the U’s found our new recruit at Woking, where he went on to sign permanently in 2021.
Chief Executive Officer of Barnsley FC, Khaled El-Ahmad, commented on the acquisition: “We are happy to welcome Kyran to Oakwell and are pleased that he has chosen Barnsley to take the next step in his career.
“We look forward to seeing Kyran settle in at the Club and getting to work with the coaches on the training ground.”
“I’m delighted,” our latest signing exclusively told iFollow Barnsley. “I’m really, really excited to get going and I’m looking forward to it.”
Welcome to Oakwell, Kyran!
