Just Now: 17-year-old midfielder stunned daniel farke before half of Leeds United against QPR….

Archie Gray, a star for Leeds United versus QPR, was “so composed” in the opening period of play, according to former Whites attacker Ross McCormack.

On Wednesday, October 4 in the Championship, Gareth Ainsworth’s team will face off against Daniel Farke’s team at Elland Road.

The 17-year-old midfielder was playing in all competitions for the 12th time this season, with 10 of those games coming in league play and two in the League Cup.

Archie Gray is so composed and I think that comes from coming through a footballing family,” McCormack said on BBC Radio Leeds, as quoted by BBC Sport. “He doesn’t seem to be fazed by anything. The fans want him to do well here of course.”

The youngster’s father Andy, grandfather Frank and great-uncle Eddie all played for the Elland Road outfit during their careers.

Leeds went into the clash with QPR knowing that an unwanted upset was fully on the cards, with their opponents without a win in their previous four matches.

In that four-game winless run, Gareth Ainsworth’s side picked up draws against Swansea City and Birmingham City, and lost to Sunderland and Coventry City.

The London outfit perhaps weren’t expecting to get much from some of those games, but they headed to Elland Road knowing that Leeds could be exposed.

The Whites have hardly set the Championship alight since their relegation from the Premier League last season, with Daniel Farke struggling to land any real consistency in the dugout.

Moreover, they went into the match on the back of a surprising and potentially very damaging 3-1 loss to Southampton.

QPR will have taken a lot of confidence from that game, with the Saints having struggled for some time before their meeting with the Whites.
