JUST NOW: Dallas Cowboys DE Micah Parsons has been fined $79 million by NFP and suffered harsh punishment for sending the NFL a risky message.

Micah Parsons, a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, posted a dangerous message on Instagram after the team’s Christmas Eve loss to the Miami Dolphins. Parsons believed the Dolphins offensive line held him multiple times during the contest, but no penalty was given.

Cowboys supporters took issue with the Sunday game’s call. A Dolphins offensive lineman tackled a Cowboys defender during a run play, according to one replay. There was no flag thrown for holding during the play.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs received harsh penalties for their angry outbursts at referees both during and after their team’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

What Parsons posted on Instagram on Sunday night most likely didn’t leave much of an impression. Parsons may need to come up with a big sum of money on Saturday.
