An ex-Chelsea manager is a strong contender to become the next manager of one of Leeds United’s Championship opponents.
Bristol City terminated manager Nigel Pearson following last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Cardiff City, which dropped the Robins to 15th in the Championship table after a run of five defeats in their last seven games. The Robins host troubled Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, and former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is considered a long shot to replace Pearson in the Ashton Gate hotseat. Lampard is as short as 1-4 with some bookmakers, comfortably ahead of second favorite John Eustace, who is best priced at 5-1.
