Earlier this week, Leicester City was one of the Premier League and Championship teams connected to Villareal forward Ben Brereton Diaz.
Given Brereton Diaz’s difficult start to life in Spain, it was reported that West Brom, Southampton, and Leicester City were all interested in learning more about his circumstances. He hasn’t quite clicked with Villareal, and according to Teamtalk, he might be placed on loan in January.
In the Austrian Bundesliga, he has been quite productive and has played against some of the best teams in Europe.
Zaroury Anass, Burnley
This would be a really wise decision. Zaroury played a major role in Burnley’s ascent to the Premier League, but in the team’s hardships, he has seen very little playing time. He might therefore be a viable loan signing for Leicester City during the latter part of the campaign.
Zaroury, who could play as a winger, striker, or attacking midfielder, recorded six goals and six assists in 34 Championship games the previous season.
Alexander Aravena, Universidad Catolica
Last but not least is Aravena, who will be a bargain signing for whoever can snap him up this winter. His deal with Chilean side Universidad Catolica expires at the end of 2023, and after 12 goals and six assists in 30 games, the 21-year-old deserves a move to Europe.
Aravena is prepared for the next step at the club level because he can also play in a variety of attacking roles and has previously earned seven caps for Chile. That’s what a move to Leicester City would enable him to do.
