The most recent Leicester City news comes from Michael Duff, who provides an update on his squad ahead of Saturday’s Championship fixture.
Swansea City have been handed an injury boost ahead of the Championship clash against Leicester City with full-back Kristian Pedersen available for selection, but there is a major doubt over another player.
City travel to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they look to extend their winning run in the league to seven games. A win for Enzo Maresca’s men would also see them become the first team in the history of the Championship to win all of their opening six away games of the season.
Ahead of the match, it was reported that Swansea centre-back Ben Cabango would be ruled out through injury. Michael Duff has since given the latest update, the Swansea manager confirmed the return of Pedersen and also didn’t fully rule out the possibility of Cabango playing a part.
The squad is looking healthier, Kristian Pedersen is fit and has trained all week,” he said in his pre-match press conference. “Ben Cabango is touch and go, he is on the grass now and we will assess where he is.
“The others are the long-term absentees, Josh Ginnelly, Joe Allen, Nathan Wood and Azeem Abdulai. It’s only Ben who is a question mark. Like I say, he is touch and go for the weekend, but he should be available for Tuesday against Watford whatever happens. He is very close to being available.”
Pedersen has missed the last three games with a groin injury. The problem has seen him miss out on wins over Millwall, Norwich City, and Plymouth Argyle.
