JUST NOW: Nottingham Forest has offered Fenerbahce with a official bid for winger Ryan Kent ahead of January transfer

Nottingham Forest have made an ‘official offer’ to Fenerbahce for winger Ryan Kent, according to reports in Turkey.

The former Liverpool and Rangers man completed a permanent move to Turkey in the summer, joining Fenerbahce on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at Ibrox. But his time at the club hasn’t gone as planned as he struggles for regular game time.

The 27-year-old has started just one Super Lig game this season and was an unused substitute for the weekend’s 2-1 win over Karagumruk. His one goal for the club game in the Europa Conference League second-round qualifier against Moldovan side Zimbru Chisinau.

Turkish outlet Sporx now reports that Forest are willing to offer the Englishman a way out, at least on a temporary basis. It is claimed that the Reds have made an ‘official offer’ to take the player on loan until the end of the season, with Fenerbahce yet to give their answer.
