The Dallas Cowboys fancy themselves as Super Bowl contenders. The team sits at 6-3 on the season and is coming off yet another blowout win over the New York Giants.

For owner Jerry Jones and Co., it’s all about hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. He’s made that more than clear recently. This has head coach Mike McCarthy facing a ton of pressure as the second half of the regular season continues and the playoffs start in a matter of weeks.

There have been rumors that Dallas is considering hiring well-known head coaches in the event that the McCarthy experiment fails. But the best one yet is this latest message from MMQB’s Albert Breer.
