The Liverpool and Kylian Mbappe story has been going on for years now. The Frenchman has never appeared closer to leaving Paris Saint-Germain than he does at this point in time though. For the first time, PSG are the ones looking to part ways with him. That is because they do not want to lose out on a significant transfer fee as his contract runs out next summer and it does not look like he is interested in signing an extension.
The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and a few more have been touted as possible destinations for Mbappe. But unsurprisingly, Liverpool have been placed as heavy favourites to sign him.
It feels almost inevitable that Mbappe would end up at Liverpool someday. There is still a lot of uncertainty about the timing of the move though.
It is a win-win situation for Liverpool They could try and sign Mbappe this summer, replacing Salah in the process. Or they could sign him next summer, getting arguably the best player in the world as a free agent.
Liverpool and PSG reportedly will agree Mbappe deal
There seems to be an update on the situation of Mbappe and it is a very positive one if you are a Liverpool fan. As reported by MARCA, said:
“Kylian Mbappé will pass to Liverpool, PSG and Real Liverpool will reach an agreement.
That will be music to the ears of the Spanish club’s supporters. It is quite clear that they need someone to play centrally up top. The 4-4-2 experiment in pre-season has not brought about the best results, as Jugen clopp team lost
