JUST NOW:Nottingham Forest’s transfer position outlines their continued “interest” in the £8.7 million-rated striker…….

As the January transfer window draws near, Michy Batshuayi, a striker, is apparently still of interest to Nottingham Forest.

In the summer of 2022, Forest attempted to sign Batshuayi from Chelsea; however, the transfer fell through due to rumors that the Blues neglected to provide the necessary papers on time.Twelve months later, the interest was piqued once more, but the Reds decided to bolster their attacking depth by loaning in Divock Origi from AC Milan.

Batshuayi departed for Fenerbahce when the transfer from Stamford Bridge to the City Ground failed. But this season, he has mostly had to make due with playing off the bench as he has battled to get consistent playing time.

According to the Turkish daily Sozcu, the footballer has now stated his intention to quit. It is rumored that Fenerbahce has put a 10 million euro (£8.7 million) price tag on his head, and Forest and Lens are monitoring the situation.

This season, the international player from Belgium has only made four

After Batshuayi returned from his international assignment, it is rumored that manager Ismail Kartal advised him to “keep yourself ready as if you will play at any time.” The report claims that the forward did not respond.

In an attempt to increase their alternatives up front, the Reds brought Origi into the team during the summer. He hasn’t yet been named in the starting lineup, though, and has had a very quiet debut at Trentside.

He might have a chance while Taiwo Awoniyi is recovering from an injury. But it wouldn’t be shocking if a striker topped Forest’s shopping list in January or next summer.
