Justin Jefferson of the Vikings agrees he gets a little jealously of such WR QB-WR a single system.

Given that Justin Jefferson, a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, would begin the 2024 season catching passes from journeyman quarterback Sam Darnold, it becomes sense that he would be jealous of most of the other outstanding quarterback-receiver tandems in the NFL.

In an interview with Kevin Hart for the “Cold As Balls” podcast, Jefferson did admit, though, that there is one combo that really makes him desire for the Cincinnati Bengals: quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

According to Jefferson, “I love them together.” “I adore their chemistry together, but there’s clearly jealousy on that side as well.”

Naturally, there’s always a chance that Jefferson is just experiencing FOMO (fear of missing out), given that he, Chase

Burrow set an NCAA record with 60 touchdown passes during that season, throwing for 5,671 yards. With 111 receptions, 1,540 yards, and 18 touchdowns, Jefferson led all of his receivers, while Chase finished with 84 receptions, 1,780 yards, and 20 touchdowns.

Despite having a mild on-field rivalry, Jefferson said he’s still quite close to Chase, even if it’s possible to argue that the two are among the top five wide receivers in the NFL.

It was constantly competitive, but Jefferson stated, “we always wanted the best for each other, but we also wanted to be better than one another.” I had a great time at LSU.
