Kaizer Chiefs have identified several targets and two of them are SuperSport players. This development isn’t good news though.
The most recent media sources state that Kegan Johannes, a suspected Kaizer Chiefs target, has agreed to a new contract with Matsatsantsa. The adaptable 23-year-old, who was born in Cape Town, is a right defender by trade but is equally at ease in the centre of defence. This season, Johannes has made 16 appearances in the league.
After four years in the capital city, defender Kegan Johannes has been with SuperSport United for an additional two years, according to iDiskiTimes.
“iDiskiTimes has learned that SuperSport exercised Johannes’s two-year option, allowing him to remain in the nation’s capital till 2026.
The site stated, “With reported interest from several clubs, speculation about Johannes’ future had been growing.
In the Chiefs’ back four, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe has established himself as a key player. In October, while on international service, he dislocated his shoulder. As the captain of his nation, he has high expectations both at the club and national levels. On December 11th, Ditlhokwe had surgery, and a three-month recovery period was specified. FarPost reports that he is getting close to making a comeback after going back to full training. This is a much-needed boost for both the management and the player.
