Kaizer Chiefs have publicly declared Nasreddine Nabi’s appointment early today

Kaizer Chiefs seem to be paving the way for the appointment of Nasreddine Nabi and here is why…

It was reported that Alexandre Santos and Pitso Mosimane were the top targets, before Nabi re-emerged as a shock candidate.

It has already been established that Chiefs will allow their new coach the freedom to bring his own technical team. This was a sticking point just last season. This when Nabi and the Amakhosi management were thought thought to be close to reaching an agreement. Now with the club looking to be led into a new era that will reclaim their glory days.

BIG APPOINTMENT FOR LOOMING FOR CHIEFS

Amakhosi have not won silverware for the past nine years now and currently fighting to finish in the top eight. The risk of going a full decade without a trophy is surely giving the club’s management sleepless nights. It is for this reason that, this next coaching appointment could be undoubtedly the most significant in the clubs history. Now with reports that say Nabi is likely to be that guy, they seem to have already been paving the way for his appointment.

The crew have also been informed that existing members of the club’s technical team have been informed that no one is guaranteed their job and heads are set to role. Insiders have informed the crew that the likes of Dillon Sheppard, Aubrey Mathibe, Rainer Dinkelacker and Bhekumuzi Maluleka as well as the club’s performance analysts are those in the firing line.

PAVING THE WAY FOR NABI?

This is an interesting moving from Chiefs, who were reluctant to make the same sacrifice last season. Nabi had reportedly wanted to bring his own technical team to the club. This would’ve included his trusted strength and conditioning coach Helmi Gueldich. It is said that Amakhosi were reluctant to part ways with then assistant coach Arthur Zwane as well as Bhekumuzi Maluleka.

Now Zwane is already gone and Maluleka could be followed by the rest of the technical team. Could this already be in preparation for Nabi’s appointment?
