Kylian Mbappé has supposedly made a decision about a Premier League move while Jürgen Klopp could soon get two Liverpool transfers he said he wanted last summer.
For Liverpool, the new Premier League season is only nine days away from kicking off. Before then, there will surely be some movement in the transfer market with Jürgen Klopp in dire need of midfield reinforcements.
While anyone signed before the game at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea is unlikely to be slotting straight into the starting XI, there is a big hole to be filled for Liverpool in the center of the pitch with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho now officially gone.
But that only heightens the need to get something over the line with matches against Bournemouth (home) and Newcastle United (away) following that before the end of August and transfer deadline day on September
It could be a busy week on and off the field with a game against Darmstadt coming up on Monday in what represents the final time this season that Liverpool can use to continue to get used to its new system and integrating the two signings that have come in, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai
Chelsea has been told by Kylian Mbappé that he would be open to joining the London side during this summer’s transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Sport— but there is a fairly big catch.
The PSG star has supposedly said to Mauricio Pochettino’s team that he would want to join on a one-year deal only, which would then facilitate a free transfer move to Real Madrid next summer.
Liverpool has long been linked with a move to sign Mbappé and a report in Spain last week, from Marca, suggested a similar arrangement with the Reds was possible, but Klopp soon laughed that off.

Jürgen Klopp could soon get two Liverpool transfers he wants
Last summer, Liverpool manager Klopp expressed a desire for the Reds to take more gambles in the transfer market in order to take the next step.
“Let me say it like this: from time to time I would be ready to risk a bit more,” Klopp said, two days before Arthur Melo arrived from Juventus on an emergency loan.
But, how I said, I don’t decide that. It’s fine. We try everything until somebody tells us it is now the deadline and we cannot do anymore, in that moment I don’t think one second back.”
Twelve months on, Liverpool could be about to grant Klopp’s wish with moves for both Roméo Lavia (Southampton) and André Trindade (Fluminense).
