The Los Angeles Lakers have announced JJ Redick as their new head coach, marking him as the 29th head coach in the franchise’s storied history.

“We are thrilled to introduce JJ Redick as the next head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers,” stated Lakers Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Rob Pelinka.

Redick, who enjoyed a 15-year NBA career, is recognized for his sharp shooting and high basketball IQ.
He played for multiple teams including Dallas, New Orleans, Philadelphia, the LA Clippers, Milwaukee, and Orlando.
Notably, he was part of 14 teams that made it to the NBA Playoffs and ranks 20th all-time in made three-pointers.
