Following the recent mass shooting on the campus of UNLV, LeBron James is upset that there has been no change to the country’s gun laws, calling it “ridiculous” to witness another tragedy occur in a place where people should feel safe.
In a conversation with the media ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers’ semi-final matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans in Vegas on Thursday, four-time champion LeBron James expressed his annoyance at hearing about another instance of gun violence.
LeBron stated on Wednesday, “It just goes back to what I said before about guns in America.” “I think it’s such a longer conversation, but we’re the only ones who keep dealing with this same story, this same conversation every single time it happens, and it just continues to happen.”
“It is absolutely absurd that there has been no change in the ability to obtain a gun and the ability to carry out these actions repeatedly. The fact that innocent people keep dying on college campuses, in classrooms, at retail centers, in movie theaters, and in other places defies logic. It’s merely absurd.”
