Sky Sport news: Leeds United has officially announced that three players would be loaned out in order to boost their playing time.

We looked at three players who Leeds United should consider loaning out during the January transfer window.

Leeds United should consider loaning out three players – Darko Gyabi, Lewis Bate, and Leo Hjelde – to give them more playing time and help their development.
Gyabi, a skilled midfielder signed from Manchester City, has seen minimal playing time and is unlikely to see regular action owing to midfield competition.
Another midfielder, Bate, had a successful loan spell at Oxford United last season but has battled to break into the Leeds first team this season, making only one substitute appearance. A loan relocation could be advantageous to him.
Hjelde, a defender signed from Celtic, has made just eight appearances and is unlikely to see more action once injured players return. A loan move would be advantageous to his growth.

Leeds United have made a good return to the Championship.

The Whites were relegated from the Premier League last season, but they are among the front-runners for promotion to the second division as they try to make an immediate return to the top flight.

Daniel Farke’s side enter the international break in sixth place, nine points behind second-placed Ipswich Town and 11 points behind leaders Leicester City.

Leeds boast one of the strongest squads in the Championship, thanks to

Gyabi joined Leeds from Manchester City last summer for a price of £5 million, but his minutes have been limited since his arrival in West Yorkshire.

Gyabi has only made two appearances in all competitions this season, and he has not been included to the matchday squad since early September.

Swansea City and Fleetwood Town were both interested in taking Gyabi on loan this summer, while Valenciennes had two bids rejected for the 19-year-old, the second of which was reported to be worth £5 million.

Like Gyabi, Bate is another midfielder who could be set for a temporary exit in the January transfer window.
