Eintracht cwas the destination for Robin Koch in the summer and he’s found himself very comfortable in the heart of their back three under manager Dino Toppmöller.
Nine games in all competitions this season have seen Koch play every single minute of action, yet to lose a game across Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and Europa Conference League action.
In that time, he’s helped his side to four clean sheets in that time while achieving something he never did at Leeds in a competitive match, which is scoring a goal.
Quotes have been shared by German outlet Bild with both the sporting director, Markus Krösche, and manager Topmöller delighted with the start, as Krösche said:
“We are doing very well defensively.”
Meanwhile, Koch’s manager named him as a key addition to his side this season:
“It’s unbelievable how stable Pacho is and how Robin has fit in.”
It is a real surprise to see that Koch has taken to a new challenge so smoothly, after being seriously sub-par for at least two seasons at Elland Road.
The Premier League was clearly just too much for him, and he never really stood a chance given that he had little support around him too.
It’s just a real shame for us that he’s arguably doing best out of our loan players,
