Bayer Leverkusen midfielder and Leeds United midfielder Nadiem Amiri appears to have annoyed his agents, according to Kicker.
The German media outlet wrote on its website on Saturday (26 August), that he gave his green signal to join Leeds only for him to go back on his word.
The 26-year-old Germany international is now viewed as someone unreliable in the transfer window amid the numerous changes of heart he’s had over the past week.
With each new day, Amiri seems to be having a different opinion over what his next move should be.
Sometimes he wants to move to Marseille, while on other occasions he is open to moving to Elland Road.
Now, staying put in Germany and at Bayer Leverkusen cannot really be ruled out either so he’s all over the place currently.
Leeds are better off staying away from players that aren’t sure that they want to be at the club as they need those who are focused.
Daniel Farke will surely be all about the project and not just getting Leeds back to the Premier League so he too wouldn’t want insincere players.
Hopefully, this Amiri saga is wrapped up soon and if the club does not get the assurance, they must move on quickly.
