According to L’Équipe, PSG have offered a new contract to Kylian Mbappé that includes a provision allowing him to depart for a set fee in the summer of 2025. The Frenchman turned down the offer.
The 24-year-old was given a deadline by President Nasser Al-Khelaifi to exercise the option to renew his deal by the last day of July, or else he will be transferred during the summer transfer window.
Al-Khelaifi, though, is allegedly expecting some last-minute encrypts for the French sensation because time is rapidly running out.
However, it is rumoured that the Frenchman is being courted by a number of other top teams. Liverpool are apparently attempting to sign him on a loan, and Chelsea are supposedly putting up a player-plus-cash deal. However, given Mbappe’s desire in joining the Spanish powerhouses, Madrid continues to be the most likely prospect to secure his contract.
