Liverpool midfielder Leighton Clarkson has agreed a permanent move to Aberdeen after successful loan spell in Scotland

Liverpool midfielder Leighton Clarkson has completed a permanent transfer to Aberdeen.

Clarkson has made the move to the Dons having impressed during a season-long loan spell in helping them finish third in the Scottish Premiership.

The 21-year-old was a virtual ever present, making 38 appearances and scoring six goals in all competitions, while his contribution of eight league assists was the highest of any player outside Celtic and Rangers
