Manchester United are set to lodge a third bid for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount but could walk away from the negotiations table, according to BBC Sport.
The Red Devils stole a march on Liverpool for the signature of the England international despite Jurgen Klopp’s side laying the early framework over a move away from Stamford Bridge. Interest was sparked after contract talks with the Londoners went cold following the World Cup in Qatar.

According to Simon Stone of the BBC, United will make a third bid, expected to be around £55m but will walk away if they see another rejected approach.
