On Friday, the Premier League 2 match between Leicester City and Newcastle United Under 21s was called off due to a medical emergency.
A Leicester City employee required medical attention, and happily, BBC Sport reports (see below) that the unnamed individual was subsequently able to return home after treatment, where the Leicester City employee is currently healing.
After 23 minutes, the young Magpies were 2-0 down, but Dylan Stephenson scored twice in quick succession to tie the game for Newcastle.
However, the game was called off in the second half due to a medical emergency, with a rescheduled date to be announced later.

The unidentified individual is now healing at home.
When the decision to call off the Premier League 2 game at the LCFC Training Ground was made, the score was 2-2.
On social media, Leicester first stated that “the staff member has been transferred to hospital.”
“We are pleased to report that, following examination by on-site medics, the staff member has been released from observation to recover at home,” read a later post.
“The club expresses its thanks to Newcastle United, to the match officials and to on-duty medical staff for their cooperation, assistance and care.”
