Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors completed an incredible blockbuster trade agreement for Jimmy Butler.

Jimmy Butler’s time with the Miami Heat may be coming to an end, as it looks like the six-time All-Star may be making a spectacular trade to the Golden State Warriors. If the Heat and the superstar forward cannot come to an agreement on a contract extension, the Heat may be forced to deal Butler, and the Warriors may suddenly become interested in acquiring him.

Expected to enter the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes are the Golden State Warriors
The Philadelphia 76ers are now thought to pose the greatest danger to Butler’s stay in South Beach. Butler may not be able to get the maximum contract he wants in Miami, but the Sixers are reportedly willing to offer it to him.

But should Butler become available on the trade market, Golden State is also a team to keep an eye on, according to Warriors source Anthony Slater of The Athletic:

It is unclear what type of trade package the Warriors will need to come up with to entice the Heat, but you can be sure that Golden State will need to make a significant sacrifice in order to meet Miami’s potential price tag.

Another name that has recently been linked to multiple trade rumours is Brandon Ingram, a top player for the New Orleans Pelicans. Slater claims that if the Pelicans start shopping the former All-Star, he “would not expect the Warriors to show interest.”

You can cross that name off the list, I suppose. However, given how flexible the Warriors’ situation is, you can bet that as the offseason gets closer, there will be a lot more talk about trades involving this team.
