BREAKING NEWS: Miami Heat finally planning to get Malcolm Brogdon after failing to acquire deals for Jrue Holiday and Damian Lillard

Expectations for the Miami Heat this offseason in terms of adding a third superstar to go with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo have fallen short.

This summer, the Miami Heat were interested in former Milwaukee Bucks guard Jrue Holiday and recently acquired Buck Damian Lillard. Lillard was traded to the Bucks after being sought after for almost three months. This caused them to focus on Holiday, who was earlier today traded to the Boston Celtics.

The Miami Heat fell short of expectations this offseason when it came to bringing in a third superstar to join Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

The Miami Heat had interest in former Milwaukee Bucks guard Jrue Holiday this summer, and they recently acquired Damian Lillard from the Bucks. Following a nearly three-month search, Lillard was moved to the Bucks. They began to concentrate on Holiday, who was recently traded to the Boston Celtics, as a result.

Miami, which is now in urgent need of salvaging a player of value from this terrible summer, may be drawn to Brogdon’s skill set. He isn’t as good as Lillard or Holiday, but he still has the potential to be a reliable scoring option off the bench.

Due to differences during the Lillard trade negotiations, the Blazers might be reluctant to send him to the Heat.
