Miami Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs fighting for the AFC Title!

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have identified this Afcon-winner as their latest target. Interestingly, he was previously coached by Hugo Broos.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates latest transfer target is an Afcon-winner. They face stiff competition for his signature, from each other.

Kaizer Chiefs are in the market for a new goalkeeper.

Interestingly, so are their Soweto rivals, Orlando Pirates with both sides identifying the same target.

CHIEFS AND PIRATES INTEREST IN AFCON-WINNING GOALKEEPER

2017 Afcon-winning goalkeeper, Fabrice Ondoa is the latest player linked with a move to the Soweto giants.

“For now, it would not be wise and proper to say which teams they are, but there are two teams. Two Soweto giants. One of the teams will be playing in Africa and that’s why they need an experienced goalkeeper like him,” the Siya source stated on SoccerLaduma.

Although, they weren’t directly named. We know who the Soweto giants are.

Moreover, Pirates will be playing in the CAF Champions League next season. Therefore, we can deduce that Amakhosi and the Bucs are interested in Ondoa. Furthermore, Pirates seem to be leading the way given that they outlined their need for him.

AMAKHOSI SEARCH FOR A KEEPER AS KHUNE FACES LIKELY EXIT

Amakhosi are in the market for a goalkeeper. Chiefs legend, Khune’s contract is set to expire. The latest in this saga is that Khune wants to keep playing. Whilst, Amakhosi will keep him at the club if he transitions into a different role. An ambassadorial role or as goalkeeper coach. However, Khune still wants to keep on playing with two PSL rivals interested in signing him. Therefore, he is likely to leave Chiefs to play for these PSL rivals. Unless, Amakhosi management change their minds on his playing career or he decides to hang up his boots (and gloves).
