Five-time All-Star Klay Thompson’s 2023–24 NBA season has been nothing short of a nightmare. And after missing two years because of ACL and Achilles tears, he was already viewed as a weakened talent before this season.It was assumed that his market in free agency this summer would plummet even more after his career with the Golden State Warriors reached a new low point on Thursday when he was benched after ten years as a starter. Unexpectedly, though, that might not be the case. Veteran NBA insider Shams Charania made some very intriguing remarks regarding the different teams that might seek the future Hall of Famer on the open market in a few months on Friday during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
“He has demonstrated his ability to be Klay Thompson.” I believe he can go and really assist a squad,” Charania remarked. “.. According to all I’ve been told, Thompson has had a difficult year.
