NBA Insider declear DeMar DeRozan’s potential trade destination as he prepared to depart from the heat in Miami.

According to recent reports, the Bulls are starting a rebuilding process, and players like Zach LaVine, Alex Caruso, and DeMar DeRozan may be shipped elsewhere in the league.

The Miami Heat and the New York Knicks are DeRozan’s “preferred trade destinations,” according to Sam Amick of NBACentral.

“If DeRozan is traded, the Heat and Knicks are reportedly better fits for him in terms of potential destinations.

If DeMar DeRozan is traded this season, his preferred destination is either the Miami Heat or the New York Knicks, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.

According to this report, the Bulls are expected to win big before the trade deadline because they are not improving quickly and don’t appear to have a lot of fun as a team.

Trade rumors are persistent with every loss, and it appears like a matter of time until the core players find new homes for their NBA careers.

As the 2023–2024 NBA season draws to a close, DeMar DeRozan has been the subject of numerous trade rumors.

The basketball community will be aware that DeRozan, who was traded from the San Antonio Spurs to the Chicago Bulls, is a star player.

Given that the Bulls have several stars on their roster such as DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic, this is undoubtedly a disappointing situation for them to be in.

NBA stars from teams that have trouble getting off to a strong start eventually get involved

Despite their excellent start to the season, the New York Knicks still seem to be lacking some offensive firepower.

Gaining DeRozan would provide the team with the offensive boost they need in order to potentially make a postseason run.

Teams around the league have shown a greater interest in dealing for Alex Caruso or DeMar DeRozan than Zach LaVine, so it appears that the Bulls will finally be sellers at the trade deadline. According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, DeRozan would rather be dealt to Miami or New York if that were to occur.

With DeRozan on the team, which does not shy away from his preferred midrange jumper, he adds another shot creator and clutch scoring option. If the Heat had DeRozan, they would pose a greater threat to the Celtics and the rest of the East.
