Miami Heat fans were reminded about the Denver Nuggets’ dominant Game 3 performance.
Miami Heat supporters are already anxious as the trade negotiations for Damian Lillard are going nowhere.
And now they have to experience the NBA Finals defeat against the Denver Nuggets. The Game 3 performances by Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, who each scored a triple-double of 30 points, were retweeted by the NBA. Murray had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Jokic ended with 32 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Jokic is known for having these type of performances, but Murray’s was a surprise. Even with his high-scoring playoff games, few anticipated he would come out with such a well-rounded game.
The post was another reminder of how much the Heat need Lillard or another star option to win a championship. They were outmatched in nearly every facet, as their lack of size and scoring inconsistency caused their downfall. Jimmy Butler’s superstar performances faded, and Miami could do little in the absence of “Playoff Jimmy.”
