NEW DEAL: The Dallas Cowboys renew thought to a deal that include a new legend   

The Dallas Cowboys fancy themselves as Super Bowl contenders. The team sits at 6-3 on the season and is coming off yet another blowout win over the New York Giants.

For owner Jerry Jones and Co., it’s all about hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. He’s made that more than clear recently. This has head coach Mike McCarthy facing a ton of pressure as the second half of the regular season continues and the playoffs start in a matter of weeks.

 

According to Breer, there is a lot of discussion in NFL circles regarding Bill Belichick, the head coach of the New England Patriots, possibly joining the Dallas Cowboys or the Washington Commanders after the 2023 season ends.

That seems improbable. We do know, however, that good things have to end. It looks like New England is ready to move on from Belichick and into a new era. The six-time Super Bowl champion wants to carry on as a coach in the interim. He will have options available to him despite his recent struggles.

Belichick is already associated with a Commanders team that is probably going to part ways with Ron Rivera after the 2023 campaign.

New Commanders owner Josh Harris could be looking for a sense of stability for an organization that was without it under disgraced former owner Daniel Snyder over the past quarter-century. Not only would Belichick bring that, he’d bring some respect back to the organization. It is a real fit.
