Ethan Ampadu continued his brilliant start to the season with another effective performance on Friday against Leicester City, and Joel Piroe was among those to praise the Leeds United star.
Ampadu, 23, has played every single minute for Leeds this season, completing 90 minutes in all 17 games for Daniel Farke’s side. The midfielder is proving to be absolutely pivotal for Leeds this term.
As per WhoScored, Ampadu made more interceptions than any other Leeds player—only Wout Faes also made three on Friday night. Ampadu also made more blocks than any Leeds player, with two.
He also had an impact on possession, too. He had the biggest success rate in terms of Leeds players with his passing, completing 38 of 42. Three out of three successful long balls Ampadu was superb.
