NEWS NOW: The Milwaukee Bucks will be more keen on Tuesday to beat the Miami Heat.

The Milwaukee Bucks face off against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night for the second time this season with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. looking to make it 2-0 against their East rivals this season. This is after the Bucks took down Miami, 122-114, on October 30 in their first matchup of the campaign.

Tuesday’s contest against the Heat will be counted as part of the NBA In-Season Tournament. This will be the first time Milwaukee and Miami will battle it out in the inaugural tournament, with the Bucks entering the matchup with an immaculate 3-0 record.

If the Bucks win on Tuesday, they will have beaten all four teams in East Group B, which includes the Heat, the New York Knicks, the Charlotte Hornets, and the Washington Wizards. A victory against Miami will get them to 4-0, which will allow them to clinch the top spot in their group.

If Milwaukee wins their group, they will automatically qualify for the quarterfinal stage as the champions of East Group B. This means that they will host a knockout game on Dec. 4 or 5 at the Fiserv Forum against a currently undetermined Eastern Conference opponent.

Beating the Heat on any given day is already enough motivation for the Bucks, but with the NBA In-Season Tournament group championship on the line, you can be sure that Milwaukee will have a bit more fire under them in Tuesday’s showdown.
