Chelsea found it difficult to drum up interest in Callum Hudson-Odoi in the last transfer window.
Callum Hudson-Odoi eventually joined Nottingham Forest on deadline day, but Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor recently shared on Twitter that there was a “lack of interest” in the winger.
He has made an instant impact at the City Ground, scoring an incredible equaliser in Forest’s 1-1 draw with Burnley yesterday.
The precision that Hudson-Odoi showed against Vincent Kompany’s side is exactly what Chelsea have been missing this season.

An example for Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke
Hudson-Odoi’s strike against Burnley, that is what the likes of Mudryk and Madueke need to be doing, curling the ball into the top corner.
There is a real lack of quality and cutting edge in Chelsea’s attacking play at present. That last moment, when it is time to shoot the ball or make the pass to put one of the forwards through on goal, it always goes wrong.
Hopefully Mudryk, Madueke and rest of the attackers in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad can improve there.
It is absolutely necessary if Chelsea are going to start climbing the table.
Their general play has not been terrible this season. It is not like the Blues are getting hammered every week. It is clear, though, that Pochettino’s men are not doing enough in the final third, which has to change in order to avoid a repeat of the 2022/23 campaign.
