News Report: £43m juventus Star attacker Agreed to sign new deal after pogba suspension….

Chelsea target Federico Chiesa is moving close to signing a new contract extension with Juventus.

That is according to a report from 90min.

They claim that Juventus are advancing talks with Federico Chiesa over a new deal in Turin.

It is understood that the Italian giants are ‘confident’ that the 25-year-old attacker will agree to an extension, with a possible deal advancing with the player’s representatives.

The report says he’s attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona in recent times.

However, the Italy international could be set to stay in Serie A.

Chiesa has started the new season in great form for Juventus, scoring three goals in four Serie A appearances.

Chelsea don’t need to go chasing anymore forwards anytime soon after a big overhaul of the squad in the past few windows, though.

Gazzetta reported back in July that Juventus wanted at least €50million (£43million) before selling Chiesa.

We feel he’s at the right club playing his best football now, though.

Let’s hope Chelsea’s current wingers can now start posting similar numbers this season in front of goal.

Mauricio Pochettino desperately needs the likes of Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk to find their goalscoring boots.

Real Madrid will not give up on signing Chelsea defender Reece James as they look to bring in a new right-back.

That is according to journalist Graeme Bailey, who has been speaking on the Talking Transfers podcast.

Reece James is a key player for Chelsea and was recently made club captain, but Bailey is not expecting Real Madrid’s interest in the 23-year-old to go away anytime soon.

On James, he said: “Real Madrid, you know, they’re going to keep asking the question every few months, once a year, twice a year, is he happy? Yeah, he is. So at the moment, nothing’s going to happen, but if they see a chink, they’ll make a move. But as it stands, Reece James is very happy at Chelsea.

Reece James happy at Chelsea

It is not a surprise to hear that James is content with life at Chelsea right now.

He has just been handed the captain’s armband and signed a new contract last September, which is worth £250,000 a week, according to Spotrac.

The England international is getting paid well and is now captaining one of the biggest teams in the world who are his boyhood club.
