NBA fans could not hold back with their reactions, with some finding the claims hilarious and others expressing their disagreement.
“I understand an owner schilling for their players, but there is no argument that can be made that Davis was the best player, it’s Jokic and everyone else,” one fan responded.
“Maybe two to three years before, but even then you have to discount his NO performance as the team had low expectations and he got unbridled usage,” another analyzed.

Davis is averaged 25.9 points a game last season, along with 12.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.1 steals.
His performances helped the Lakers register playoff series victories over the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors, though Los Angeles fell short against the Denver Nuggets in the Conference finals.
