News Report: Loaned-out Leeds United midfielder Agreed Verbal Return moves Ahead of January Transfer….

Uncategorized

Leeds United attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson has been dubbed as one of the strugglers in the Union Berlin side after his loan signing in the summer.

Leaving Elland Road in the summer hasn’t been enough for a number of the Leeds squad to be enjoying their football again after securing loan exits.

Top-flight transfers weren’t hard to come by, but complete turnarounds in form haven’t been possible for a fair few of them.

A loan move to Union Berlin was Brenden Aaronson’s exit route from Elland Road in the summer, scoring himself Champions League football just a year after his £25million move to Leeds.

It’s not been smooth sailing for the USMNT attacking midfielder, encountering the same issues that he did in the Premier League for Leeds, failing so far to muster anything concrete in the final third for his new club.

German outlet MOZ have now reviewed Aaronson’s time at the club so far along with the other new signings, where they rated him as a five out of 10, pointing to familiar struggles that Leeds fans will recognise:

Brenden Aaronson (5, Leeds United): The US national player should revive the offensive, especially with his own possession. Despite a good season preparation, Aaronson has not been able to meet this claim so far because he still lacks physical robustness. His dribbling strength rarely resulted in goal danger. In addition, Aaronson revealed considerable deficits in the completion of the goal. He missed several goal chances. Note: 5 (out of 10)

Same old story unfortunately.

With Aaronson in the Premier League, we could see that the physicality was just far too much for him, and then the speed of decision-making required wasn’t there either.

He’s only 22, so there’s plenty of time to refine his game and adapt into a player that isn’t just adept at pressing high.

However, this is an ominous review and one that Leeds fans will not be shocked by at all.
