News Report: Reported £30k p/w former Gers star needs reset after 36 mins since August……

Ryan Kent would have been hoping to return to England and the bright lights of the Premier League after leaving Rangers, however, a move to Fenerbahce has far from gone as planned.

The 27-year old left Glasgow after five years at the club and his form over the last two seasons has continued into his first in the Super Lig.

The biggest problem facing Ryan Kent is that, at Rangers, he would be given the chance to play himself into form but times are different after signing for Fenerbahce.

to put things into perspective, Abdallah Sima has hit the ground running and already has more goals this season than Kent scored in his last two at the club.

How we became so reliant on him and hoping week, after week, that he would start scoring goals was nothing short of negligence by the various managers and Ross Wilson.

A place on the bench should have given him the hint that what he was offering wasn’t good enough but he is finding out the hard way now.

With just 36 minutes in the league since August and one start all season, Ryan Kent isn’t making the sort of impact that his reported £30,000 per week salary suggests that he should be for Fenerbahce.

Additionally, his only goal contributions have come in the Europa Conference League against teams that you would hardly class as elite.

As he did at Rangers, Ryan Kent simply has to score more goals and create more assists for Fenerbahce if he wants to be a success.

Sima has shown just how much Kent got away with over his last two seasons in a team that dominates possession and chances most weeks.

A change of scenery has made no difference in a career that is hanging in the balance if the former Gers winger wants to stay at the highest level.
