News Report: Security Guard Was Visibly Disgusted Watching Kayvon Thibodeaux Drop An Easy Pick-6

Uncategorized

A security guard was caught watching the action during a Sunday afternoon matchup between the Giants and Commanders. The staffer had the most hilarious reaction to seeing Kayvon Thibodeaux drop an easy pick-six.

Leading 14-7 in the third quarter, New York turned up the heat on Washington signal caller Sam Howell. Pressure got to the quarterback on a first down play almost immediately, forcing Howell to throw the ball away as be backpedaled into his own endzone.

That attempt wouldn’t get to the sidelines, instead sailing in the direction of Thibodeaux, who was all alone on the field.

Appearing to be an easy pick-six, Thibodeaux could already see the green grass in front of him. A touchdown would’ve put the Giants up 21-7 in the second half, potentially putting the game on ice.

Instead, the defender let the ball slip through his hands, allowing the Washington drive to continue.

Giants fans were obviously frustrated with the dropped interception, but maybe no one was more disgusted than a security guard standing behind the endzone.

The dropped pick-six wouldn’t come back to haunt the Giants as they’d land a 14-7 win. After the game, Thibodeaux was asked about the play.

“It went from an interception to a punt return,” the defender said. “I saw the open grass and I saw the blockers. I looked up, and it just hit me in the stomach… I’m weak for that.”

Though he couldn’t secure the potential touchdown, Thibodeaux did make his presence known on the field. The pass rusher finished with four tackles and 1.5 sacks on the day. New York will try to build on the win as they prep for a matchup with the crosstown Jets next Sunday.
