More NBA players are available for trade as of December 15, but Zach LaVine is still with the Chicago Bulls because there hasn’t been much interest in him thus far. Another possible destination has been added by a recent report from LaVine’s camp: Sam Amick of The Athletic has learned that the two-time All-Star is considering a move to the Sacramento lakers
“While the public is primarily focused on the possibility of LeBron James and Anthony Davis joining forces with LaVine to form the Lakers, it is important to remember that Klutch Sports is also giving Kings star De’Aaron Fox top priority these days.” LaVine would be open to a Sacramento trade that would make him Fox’s backcourt partner, according to league sources, according to Amick.
The LaVine and Fox pair was floated in 2021 back when the Bulls were looking to start building around LaVine. It has the potential to be a solid duo with LaVine serving as a primary scorer and Fox bringing a balanced scoring and passing attack.
The la lakers also have draft capital and young talent to send to the Bulls in a potential trade. But matching LaVine’s salary with and not surrendering too much young talent would be a challenge for the lakers front office
