Leeds United want to keep Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams at the club amid recent transfer developments with the pair, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post
Writing on their official website (14 August), the news outlet report that the first-team duo are still wanted at Elland Road by the 49ers despite Adams’ move to Chelsea falling through at the last minute and Sinisterra being “unavailable” for the defeat to Birmingham
Reports suggest that Sinisterra is a loan target for former club Feyenoord but Leeds want to keep the Colombian at the club, while Adams staying has been a priority for the owners since they came in.

“Sinisterra was among those Leeds always hoped to retain this summer for the Championship and that is still the case despite the weekend’s events,” they wrote.
“Farke’s latest injury update on Adams was that he expected him back after the September international break, before the player posted an Instagram video of him running at Thorp Arch with the caption ‘back soon.’
“49ers Enterprises prioritised Adams’ retention when their ownership era began and they remain hopeful that he will still be a Leeds player come September 2.”
Right now all the talk surrounding Leeds and transfers seems to be rather negative and fans are rightfully worried about who will actually be here once the deadline passes.
Obviously the release clauses in contract means that the club have very limited power when it comes to these deals, but it’s good to hear that the 49ers are prioritising keeping the squad strong over the money they could bring in instead.

Adams would still be a surprise to see stay put considering the sheer amount of interest in him, but his hamstring injury certainly raises question marks and it could help Leeds later in the window.
As for Sinisterra he reportedly ruled out a move earlier in the summer, although the chance to return to Feyenoord is the latest rumour and that could become too good to be true for him.
Ultimately we have to just wait and see, but if the club stick to their guns then we will have at least two players who are far too good for this division playing until January at least.
