The San Francisco 49ers recently demonstrated their continued dominance over the Dallas Cowboys in terms of a head-to-head matchup with a 42-10 drubbing of “America’s Team.” But that doesn’t mean the 49ers are without some cracks in the armor … at least “cracks” of the injury kind. The 49ers will be at something less than 100 percent when they play the Minnesota Vikings on “Monday Night Football” this week as the Cowboys NFC rivals could be without three of their most important stars. 49ers injuries The team has ruled out receiver Deebo Samuel because of a hairline fracture in his shoulder. … and it sounds like that issue could linger for a bit. The 49ers are likely to also be without standout left tackle Trent Williams; he is doubtful with an ankle injury sustained in last week’s stunning Niners loss to the Cleveland Browns.

And last but not least: Running back Christian McCaffrey, the NFL’s leading rusher, has been limited in his practice work all week as he in dealing with an oblique injury and is listed as “questionable” for the “MNF” game. The 49ers are 5-1, as are the Philadelphia Eagles, who also face a prime-time challenge in Week 7 as they play on “Sunday Night Football” against the AFC powerhouse the Miami Dolphins. Dallas is 4-2 and is on its bye week, ready to prep for a Week 8 visit from the Los Angeles Rams. But before that? As the Cowboys try to successfully chase the Niners and Eagles in the NFC playoff race, they have reasons to watch prime-time TV this week.
