NEWS UPDATE: blockbuster trade finally ended up for Los Angeles Lakers acquiring Draymond Green, Bill Simmons offered

Under an intriguing proposal from Bill Simmons, Draymond Green might become a Laker in a three-team trade with the Bulls and Warriors.

Following the removal of the January 15 restrictions, most NBA players are available for trade at any time between now and February 8. The Bulls, Lakers, and Warriors are all anticipated to be involved in some capacity in the chaos on deadline day.

While the Bulls are anticipated to dismantle in order to rebuild, the Lakers and Warriors are anticipated to purchase for their win-now initiatives. Bill Simmons has a plan in which Draymond to the Lakers is the centerpiece and all three teams get what they desire.

To make the deal feasible, the Lakers would need to include one other player. The most out-of-place with another addition in the frontcourt would be Jaxson Hayes, especially with Christian Wood recently finding his way into the lineup.
