NEWS UPDATE: Cowboys officially declare their interest to sign Haason Reddick.

This offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles will need to decide how to handle star pass rusher Haason Reddick. However, opportunities may present themselves on the trade market that might allow Philly to forego signing the two-time Pro Bowler to a longer contract in favour of receiving some value in exchange. Associated content The Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars are expressing interest in trading for Reddick, according to sources who spoke with our own Mike Fisher. Our source states that the Cowboys and Reddick are among the teams that are “interested” in moving forward because they both have “respect” for one other. (We have not verified the rumours here, but they mention Detroit, Houston, and New England.)

During his NFL Combine media availability, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman stated that while Reddick is a “unbelievable” player, juggling the present and the future is the “hardest job.” Although the Eagles might not want to let go of Reddick, they might not think it is worth it to sign him to a new contract given that he will be 30 years old when the 2019–20 season begins.
