NEWS UPDATE: Kaizer Chiefs have appointed Amakhosi, the former coach of the Pirates, as their stunning new coach.

Owen Da Game, a former Orlando Pirates coach, has expressed interest in leading Kaizer Chiefs. As we speak, his staff is submitting his resume.

The Kaizer Chiefs will shortly make their new head coach public.

Furthermore, Nasreddine Nabi is leading the race right now. Pitso Mosimane is still connected to the Chiefs position in the interim. Owen Da Gama, a former Orlando Pirates coach, is keen to lead the PSL’s Soweto giants, though.

CHIEFS JOB: EX-PIRATES COACH APPLIES
Da Gama would like to be the Chiefs’ coach. In addition, he thinks he can bring a lot of value to the team.

One of my goals is to visit a club like Chiefs, have a conversation with the Motaung family, and suggest a course of action. How are we going to handle it?

He’s apparently planning to apply for the position in the interim. His team is currently forwarding his resume to the Amakhosi leadership.

The source said, “Sources have confirmed that Da Game’s handlers are in the process of sending his CV to Naturena.”

Is Da Gama’s Bid for the Amakhosi Job Too Late?
He undoubtedly possesses the experience that the administration of Amakhosi is seeking. But Da Gama finds the most recent news from Naturena to be depressing. As was already indicated, the favourites are Mosimane and Nabi. In addition, the Chiefs will shortly reveal their new coach. His application will therefore probably be submitted too late.
