This season, the Los Angeles Lakers have fallen short of expectations. The Lakers overcame injuries to win the first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament, and things got off to a great start. But that was the high point of the season so far, and things have only gotten worse from there.
Since that trip to Las Vegas, Los Angeles has had a great deal of difficulty and is currently 22–23 on the year. When LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both mostly healthy, there is no reason for the Lake Show to be below.500, but sadly, that is the state of affairs the team finds itself in.
