With the exception of Jarred Vanderbilt, the Los Angeles Lakers can now trade every player on their roster.
The Atlanta Hawks star Dejounte Murray has been most closely associated with the Lakers recently.
Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls has trailed closely behind him, although ESPN’s Brian Windhorst estimated that he had a “0%” chance of doing so.
However, there isn’t a store with thirty guys available if I’m Rob Pelinka. However, it goes beyond LaVine or Dejounte Murray, ESPN’s Tim MacMahon stated on January 15 on “Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective.”
“I’m calling Charlotte to ask about Terry Rozier, or at the very least to see if he could be available for a much cheaper price. Because in my opinion, that guy would provide you with a lot of what you need at a lower cost. Even though he is averaging 23 points per game, it’s not the big splash. Only because the Hornets are so [bad] nobody knows that.
The league-wide trade restrictions on a number of players ended on January 15. This made it possible for the Lakers to trade for either Austin Reaves or Rui Hachimura.
Reaves hasn’t been moved by the Lakers, though. This past offseason, the third-year player re-signed on a four-year, $53.8 million contract. In the first year of a three-year, $51 million contract, Hachimura’s greatest value is as salary-matching material.
In the midst of a four-year, $96 million contract, Rozier, 28, is in his second year. A portion of the contract’s final year is guaranteed. He might become an even more alluring trade target as a result.
His deal is less expensive and less restrictive than Murray’s impending $114 million, four-year agreement. Compared to Murray, Rozier is averaging more assists and points. Murray’s deep ball game has improved this year.
However, throughout their careers, Rozier has been the superior shooter.
His success and experience in the latter area may make him the most desirable player on a LeBron James-led Lakers team.
