NEWS UPDATE: Twitter Reacted To The Miami Heat’s Victory Against The Los Angeles Lakers On Monday Night…

Many fans’ hearts were thumping till the very end after the Miami Heat defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by a mere one point.

Unfortunately, though, Miami prevailed for the second time in a row despite a Lakers comeback in the fourth quarter.

You don’t enjoy Heat basketball if you don’t like that. The stigma associated with subpar fourth quarter performances is taking the place of previous year’s pattern of subpar third quarters. Miami had an 11-point advantage into the last quarter, but it quickly shrank to one, forcing them to make another desperate attempt to stave off their rival. Early in the season, this trend drew harsh criticism from fans.

At least they could celebrate Bam Adebayo in arguably the most complete game of his career. Adebayo recorded his sixth regular season triple double, with 22 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists.

Tyler Herro had 22 points and three steals on Monday night to cap off an outstanding season despite turnovers and subpar 3-point shooting. With 28 points on 60% shooting from the field, Jimmy Butler led Miami in scoring. Adebayo, Herro, and Butler delivered yet another outstanding Big Three performance to lead the club to victory.
On Wednesday night, the Heat take on the Memphis Grizzlies (1-6). Let’s hope they can pull off a decisive victory over a lackluster opponent.
