The Los Angeles Lakers, at 16–15, aren’t exactly where they’d wanted to be at this point in the season. It feels like a trade will eventually happen, though how big or small is still up in the air. In the most recent installment of his Scoop B Radio podcast, former Lakers shooting guard Nick Young gave his two cents to Bovada’s Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson about his ideal addition for the Purple and Gold. “Zach LaVine,” suggested Young. “Imagine how he jumps and LeBron passes passes to him. That would be insane! Zach could then get easy buckets and backdoor cuts, eliminating him from the spotlight. He can score, so it would be a match made,

Additionally, he is a scorer, and I believe the Lakers need someone to step in for LeBron and AD when they are worn out.” Young named two of LA’s top three players when asked which other Lakers players he preferred. “I’m an Austin Reaves fan, pulling for my guy and what LeBron is doing at this age is unbelievable, you know?” stated Young. “You know, some days it’s difficult for me to get out of bed even though we’re the same age. [Giggling]… So it’s amazing to watch what he can do. They are, in my opinion, one trade away.
