Orioles officially acquired reliever Yohan Ramírez from the Mets as a trade for cash.

Yohan Ramírez, a right-handed reliever, was acquired by the Baltimore Orioles from the New York Mets on Thursday for cash.

In his three appearances this season, the 28-year-old Ramírez went 0-1 with an 11.81 ERA for New York, who designated him for assignment on Monday.

In 105 appearances over five seasons, he had a 4.31 ERA for the Mets, Seattle, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and the Chicago White Sox. In 2016, Houston signed Ramírez out of the Dominican Republic; the Mariners later selected him in the Rule 5 draft.
