Rangers CEO James Bisgrove has confirmed the club are closing in on the appointment of a new Director of Football.
Speaking at the freshly launched Fans’ Forum at New Edmiston House, James Bisgrove confirmed that the club are set to hold final interviews with regards the position in the coming weeks
It comes after James Bisgrove had confirmed the club were set to follow up the appointment of Philippe Clement with a new Director of Football to complete the club’s footballing board.
Rangers have been without someone in such a position since Sporting Director Ross Wilson left for Nottingham Forest in April.
“The chairman (John Bennett) and I will have more meetings in London at end of the week,” said Bisgrove.
“That individual will lead our recruitment team and liaise with Craeg (Robertson, director of football operations) with everything in our football department.
“We are moving to the final stages on this.
